At The Lord's Daily Bread, our goal is to help feed and change the lives of homeless people in
Denver and Aurora, CO through charity donations. By addressing your donations to us, you’re
helping homeless people in Denver and Aurora, CO get the immediate help they need. We
accept food and monetary donations from caring individuals who want to lend a helping hand to
people experiencing homelessness.

Who We Are
The primary purpose of Lord's Daily Bread (LDB) is to meet the immediate and tangible needs of people experiencing homelessness in the Denver Metro area, especially Denver and Aurora. The LDB team has shown our commitment to this purpose for more than 30 years by serving food every weekend, getting to know people, showing them love, referring them to necessary services, and guiding many out of homelessness.
In 2020, despite pandemic restrictions, we distributed approximately 38,300 meals and provided more than 87,000 referrals to emergency shelters, mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling and other services.
Lord's Daily Bread is a 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions are tax deductible.
You Can Join Us - What We Are Doing
Emergency Hunger Relief
Lord's Daily Bread has developed partnerships with local retailers who contribute food, personal care products and more. We transport the food and items to feeding locations and distribute to the people who need it. Meals are normally served twice weekly in Denver and once a month in Aurora. In addition, we make home deliveries to older adults and individuals with physical and/or cognitive disabilities three times per week.
Referrals & Follow-up
At every feeding, LDB works to connect clients to a broad array of additional services and support, including emergency shelters, substance abuse counseling, mental health counseling, medical assistance, housing, disability support, veteran’s services, and domestic violence support. We also provide the resources and transportation that participants need to work with referral partners, and we check in with referral agencies and participants to follow up afterwards.
Community Center
LDB is embarking on a new journey to support those who are homeless thorough establishing a “brick and mortar” home for our programs—a place where people will be treated with kindness and dignity. The center will be open 10-12 hours per day and will allow us to do feedings and provide office space for counseling interviews.
